Travelin’

Haven’t updated in a really long time so I’ll compensate with a really long post. I’ve been in and out of Shanghai the past month on photo jobs and trips. Below are photos from Putuoshan, Harbin, Nanchang, and Huangshan. I’m going to try to get back to pretty regular posting(maybe).

Shanghai Nights

The past few nights, I’ve put my tripod on the back of my bike and gone off riding around town. I hadn’t done the long-exposure night photo thing in years and I had forgotten how much fun it is to be out taking photos at 1 a.m. Plus, the air pollution here makes for really cool looking nighttime skies. Enjoy!

The Expo B-list

Since the World Expo is so crowded, I decided to beat the 3 hour lines and check out some of the lesser- known pavilions and see what they had to offer.

Libya had a portrait of a beaming Qaddafi, and not much elseIf murals of Ahmadinejad kissing old people is your thing, then the Iranian Pavilion doesn’t disappoint.Afghanistan’s really optimistic sign. Inside was a few photos and a rug store.I feel kind of bad calling countries out, but I don’t think anybody really believes that Togo has high-speed rail. And of course no visit is complete without North Korea. And no visit to North Korea is complete without stopping by the gift shop for some Kim Jong-il stamps!
