Yesterday I checked out a park on the western outskirts of Shanghai called Sheshan. Because of the cold and the steady rain, apart from the maintenance people I was the only one in the park. With the fog and lack of people I felt like I was walking in Turok: Dinosaur Hunter

Yesterday, Frances and I went to check out Thames Town on the outskirts of Shanghai. It was built a few years ago as an English-themed suburb. It reminded me of Wee Britain from “Arrested Development”, or a much stranger Forest Hills. As most of the shops were closed, it seemed like a town abandoned by everyone except wedding photographers.
